Michael Einziger is a musician, inventor, and entrepreneur best known as the co-founder and guitarist of the multi-platinum rock band Incubus, which has sold more than 23 million albums worldwide. He co-wrote Avicii’s global hit “Wake Me Up” and has collaborated with artists including Hans Zimmer, Skrillex, Pharrell Williams, and Tyler, the Creator. 

Alongside his wife, violinist Ann Marie Simpson-Einziger, he co-founded Mother Science, a biotechnology-driven skincare company that recently launched at Sephora, and AME Therapeutics, a pharmaceutical company developing novel small-molecule therapeutics in dermatology, inflammation, and oncology. Einziger is an inventor on numerous patents arising from this work and previously co-founded immersive audio and AI translation platform Mixhalo, which was acquired by DeepL in 2026.
